I love this series and honestly, a Kristen Proby book is like comfort food, so rich and yummy and hits all the senses. This is the 4th book in the series and centers around Charlotte (Charly) Boudreaux. She is fiercely independent and successful. The story begins with Charly attending a self-help seminar in Montana for two weeks. The speaker for the retreat is Simon Danbury, he is gorgeous and sexy. He is also smitten with Charly and wants to keep a professional distance from her but is finding this strategy more difficult as their time at the retreat comes to an end. Charly is also fighting her attraction and soon the two give in and share a wonderful weekend together. Unfortunately, reality sinks in and the two part ways without exchanging any contact information. They believe it is for the best since his home is in London and hers in New Orleans.

But weeks pass and the two are missing one another and Simon decides to surprise Charly, and she welcomes him along with her family. He decides to stay a little longer with her as he wants to pursue a relationship, but is also scared because he was once married and the marriage ended with deception on his ex-wife's part which has caused him to have trust issues. Their relationship is moving along and both want to tell the other that they have fallen in love, but their trust has been tested.

I won't give away any details, but I can say that this was a fun and indulgent read and I look forward to Beau's story.

What can I say!!! There hasn't been one book that Kristen has written that doesn't grab you by the arm and doesn't let go until the book is over. I must be honest and say that about 60% in I was a little bored (rabbits don't have sex as much as Charly and Simon) but not to give too much away Kristen grabs that arm again until you are done. She had me in tears when Charly has "the dream", especially from a Daddy's girl who would love to have that conversation with her own. It provides some important news about the other family members and I can't wait to see what happens with Beau and Mallory and hopefull Savannah and Ben.
Simon is a motivational type speaker who teaches women how to love themselves. Charly went with a boat load of spectisism on her shoulders. But one look at each other and they were hooked. It was a sow start but when it did it took off. They both have/had someone in their past that comes back into the picture but the distance of an ocean couldn't stop them from being together. Loved revisiting all of the Bourdeaux family and their families.
Kristen Proby has a way of grabbing you and dragging you into the story. I always feel like I’m in the middle of everything that is happening in the book. The highs, the lows, I can feel them all and I love every second of reading her books. Easy Kisses was exactly what I was expecting from Kristen and more. I love the Boudreaux family. They are a ton of fun, but they are so tight knit that I’m sometimes a little jealous I don’t have more siblings.

I’ve been intrigued by Charly since the beginning. She’s always been fun, but not very vocal about her own life and experiences. I really enjoyed how she met Simon and how their romance was a slow burn that turned into a passionate, all-consuming fire. There was definitely crazy chemistry between them and I liked that they didn’t really rush into anything. I appreciated Simon’s need for professionalism since Charly was technically a client.

This book was perfect in every way. I laughed, I peeped a tear or two out, and I definitely swooned. I am never disappointed when I read a book by Kristen Proby. She is an amazing author and I hope to be like her someday. And now I really want to visit Montana and the beauty that she described in this book.

Up next for the Boudreaux clan it looks like Beau and his neighbor Mallory. Their story should be a ton of fun and sexy as all get out. Then we will finally get Savannah’s story. She deserves a happily ever after and it better be with Ben. There is a particular scene with Ben at the center of it in this book that made me laugh out loud and made me jealous of fictional characters. I cannot wait for the rest of this series and more books by Kristen.
Easy Kisses is full of sass, charm, broken trust and forgiveness. Charlotte (aka Charly) and Simon discover they're not just ships passing in the night, they're anchored to each other deeper than either one realizes, a fact they learn too little too late.

Both characters are strong willed with personal issues they try to handle alone even though they don't have to. Surrounded by supportive family and friends, they learn trusting and relying on others isn't a weakness but a strength that only enhances the relationships they have together and with others.

This story touches on the tough topic of emotional abuse with (for me) an unusual role reversal in a romance book-it's the hero who has suffered instead of the heroine. Proby handles it with honesty and grace but doesn't shy away from the problems it causes Charly and Simon.

All in all, I really enjoyed the book-not too angsty but just enough drama with the tough topics, steamy sex with a bossy Brit, zany family antics..there's never a dull moment with the Boudreaux family!
I loooove me some Kristen Proby! No one can write the close knit family dynamic that Kristen can in such a wonderful and humorous way! In her books the side characters are almost just as enjoyable as the main characters. I REALLY enjoyed this book! Charly and Simon are incredible together and their chemistry was off the charts hot! I loved the set up of this book and how Charly and Simon meet. Simon's back story was a nice change of the normal set-up that we see in most romance novels. The set-up for the next book was so well done and I CANNOT wait to get my hands on that one! This book really had it all except that I wish there would have been a bit stronger catalyst at the end to drive a wedge between Simon and Charly. It was a little weak but overall this was still another amazing book with fantastic characters by Proby!
